Seamaster Sailer 925

(previously known as the Seamaster 28 Sailer and the Seamaster 880 Sailer)

Designed by Holman & Pye in 1972 this design was introduced as the 28 and was also known as the 880. 153 craft were made and 137 were called 925s.

Specification:

OAL 30'1", LOA 28'3", LWL 22'7½"
Beam 9'11½", Draught 5', Displacement 3½ tons.

Engine:

Volvo Penta MD6A or MD1B (6 & 10 hp respectively)

Sails:

Standard: Main 153.94 sq ft, No 1 Jib 169.23 sq ft.
Optional: Genoa - light 346.2 sq ft, No 1 337.37 sq ft, No 2 259.44 sq ft,
Storm Jib 69 sq ft, Spinnaker.

The Seamaster 925 was featured in the December 2000 issue of Sailing Today.
They compared it with several other boats of similar size and concluded that "Although an older design, this boat was ahead of its time in many ways and is good value for money." They gave a guide price of about £16,000 to £20,000.
