The Seamaster Commodore 28'6" 5-6 berth cruiser was originally designed as a fast sea boat with twin diesel installations. It was introduced in 1960 and was still in production in 1970; many were sold prior to completion, especially to hire companies.
Specification:
Length: 28'6"; Beam:9'; Draught: 2'2" Weight: 3½ tons; Headroom 5'10" in main cabins, but only sitting room in aft cabin. Later versions built to give more headroom aft.

Single or twin BMC 2.2 diesel
Single or twin BMC 1.5 diesel.
Perkins 4107 diesel
Various Wortham Blake / Ford petrol engines
Various other engines were available to customer orders.
